About the Role:
Join our team as a Business Solutions Project Manager and play a crucial role in driving our Digital Transformation Program forward. As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of major technology software projects, working closely with our ICT team, third-party vendors, and key stakeholders within the business.
In this transformational role, you will be overseeing the consistent and professional delivery of major technology projects as a part of our Business Transformation Program, using our project management methodology.
Daily, this role would typically involve:
Delivery of major technology projects in line with Council's project management methodology.
Defining high-level project plans, schedules, tasks, and resource requirements.
Collaboration with key stakeholders for project timeframes and scope.
Identification, documentation, and mitigation of project risks.
Leadership of planning and implementation process for technology projects.
Scheduling of training programs for new technology applications.
Provision of regular progress reports to stakeholders and management.
Coordination of implementation evaluations and assessments for business improvement.
Compliance with regulations, implementation of performance metrics and risk mitigation.
Promotion of continuous improvement, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
Effective communication and fostering of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
7+ years relevant experience
Proven experience in Local Government project management and demonstrated success in project management.
Strong facilitation skills for project meetings and stakeholder workshops
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work with vendors and staff at all levels
Effective management of multiple tasks and priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop and maintain implementation and resourcing plans for multiple projects.
The successful candidate should have d egree qualifications in business, information technology, project management, related field, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in Local Government project management space preferred, Other Skills :

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $ 116,493 to $128,238 plus superannuation.
