About the role
Currently, Direct Care Resources have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm at the DCR Head Office at Tingalpa. The role professionally supports and provides high quality business support and assistance to the Case Management team as well as the Executive Manager (Care Policy, and Practice) and Senior Managers in relation to client care in both the Adult Disability and Child Safety space, resource management and administrative matters associated with the cost-effective operation of the business.
We currently service clients in Toowoomba, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane's North, South, and West regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high quality administrative and business support services to the Care Team (Executive Manager, Senior Managers, Case Managers) particularly in relation to the case assignments of clients
Regularly audit documentation to ensure compliance
Development of communication aids specific to individual clients
Collation of all documents associated with clients
Creating the Roster/Model of Care and scheduling of Support Workers
Assessment and scrutiny of the status of ‘in-house' money management for clients with detailed reporting
Undertake rostering and assigning suitable care staff to clients
Maintain client electronic files and records
Organise arrangements for entry and exit of clients
Attend meetings on behalf of Case Managers
Provide advice and assistance to key stakeholders as required
Requirements:
Possess a post-secondary qualification in either Diploma in Community Services, Disability, Child Protection, or a related field
Demonstrated high level of competence in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in the application of Word and Excel software
Good standard of keyboard speed and accuracy, particularly in the entry of staffing and related data
Demonstrated knowledge of standard practices, methods, and techniques associated with the provision of high-quality staffing, administrative and associated services to clients with a disability
Demonstrated high-level of communication, interpersonal, negotiation and personal presentation skills, particularly in relation to positively managing the interface between a commercial enterprise and government organisations
Possession of a driver's license and willingness to apply for a Blue Card, NDIS Worker's Screening Check, and LCS2
