Foundation Contracting has a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Local Government.
We are looking for multiple Administration Support Officers to work with a large Regional Council on the North side of Brisbane working out of their Strathpine office.
About the role:
The role entails a large volume of data entry with strong attention to detail, accuracy & speed.
You will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
Provide customer support through managing and actioning a variety of customer requests across the department
Provide administrative and customer support to specialist areas including cemeteries and immunisation, which may at times require work in different locations
Undertake the end-to-end processing of permits, licenses and registrations
Undertake a range of day-to-day operational financial and purchasing practices to support the needs of the department
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to increase the effectiveness and profile of the department.
What you need:
Certificate 2 in Business Administration or the equivalent in experience
Previously worked in a similar role
Ability to use the Microsoft suite of products. Mostly Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
Must love data entry and customer service
