Business Support Officer

We have an exciting full-time opportunity available for a Business Support Officer (BSO) to join our team based in Canberra. This position will be responsible for providing administration support to our Canberra Office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Providing administrative support to the Canberra office, ensuring quality and accuracy, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
- Arrange travel and accommodation for staff as required
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence and actioning or responding as appropriate
- Undertaking general business support and administrative tasks including typing, formatting and proofreading of documents, minute taking, filing and archiving, using approved systems and templates
- Supporting staff to facilitate the timely preparation, approval and issuing of invoices, reports, claims and other submissions
- Coordinating and assisting with the preparation of fee proposals, tenders and similar submissions
- Ordering Personal Protective Equipment and co-ordinating ordering of stationery and other office supplies
- Assist with co-ordination of equipment for new starters and ICT replacements
- Assisting with logging Vendor invoices and Staff expense and mileage claims
- Other duties as directed
- 2-3 years' experience in project administration, office administration or business support roles
- Previous experience as an office administrator, secretary, personal or executive assistant (desirable)
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality and accurate work
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work unsupervised
