Business Support Officer

We are looking for Business Support Officer to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.

• 6-month contract opportunity with NSW State Government
• Offices are based in Airds
• $40 per hour + super

Primary purpose of the role:
Provide high quality administrative support to facilitate the efficient and effective operation of the business unit objectives.

Key accountabilities:

• Provide reception duties at a large community hub facility in Airds, including greeting and assisting visitors, setting up spaces and assisting to deliver meetings, workshops and other events.
• Support the community renewal team across two locations and sometimes off site by providing administrative assistance such as to create, organise and maintain records, take and draft minutes and communicate with stakeholders about meetings and events.
• Responsible for maintaining office and facility supplies across the 2 locations and ensuring that community information material is current, consistent and appropriate.

Key skills and experience to be successful:

• Sound experience or exposure, to a variety of computer systems including but not limited Excel, TRIM, CM9
• Exercise discretion and maintaining confidentiality in handling critical and sensitive information.
