We are seeking applications for the position of Buyer for our Manufacturing facility in Murarrie, Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a purchasing professional to join NOJA Power
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Contract Management and Negotiation for the supply of input materials
- Supply Agreement and Heads of Agreement contracts with key vendors
- Investigate cost discrepancy and maintain purchase order parameters
- Develop cost saving programs to leverage off consolidated purchasing activities, Tenders, negotiations, and periodic pricing reviews for new and existing suppliers
- Oversee all transactional ERP procurement activities
- Create systems and tools for the procurement team to improve demand accuracy and identify trends.
- Develop and maintain approved supplier lists including a thorough selection process and conduct regular evaluations of performance and monitor broader market trends.
- Oversee development and implementation of Service Level Agreements with all major vendors.
- Manage Supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to develop and improve the supply chain effectiveness.
- Manage supplier deliveries including arranging incoming shipments
- 3-5 years Commercial experience in similar role
- Strong negotiation skills
- Domestic and International logistics experience
- Demonstrated ability in MRP and ERP systems, SAP experience will be highly regarded
- Preferably business degree majoring in supply and logistics or relevant industry experience
- Team engagement
- Applicant with Engineering knowledge will be highly regarded
