MEGT and our Host employer are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious 1st Year Apprentice Cabinet Maker Furniture to join our Dandenong South team. LNP Schade Cabinets specialise in custom built quality cabinetry including Kitchens, Bathroom Vanities, Wardrobes, Laundries, Wall Units, Entertainment Units, Shopfittings, Office Fitouts, Storage Solutions and more
The Role:
Learning how to use hand and power tools.
Assembling of cabinets.
Knowledge of machinery.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
Cleaning of work areas.
Factory based
About you:
Ability to solve practical problems effectively
The ability to work to deadlines but with a lot of laughs thrown in!
A positive and enthusiastic attitude, including a desire to complete a national qualification.
Driver licencing and dependable transportation are required.
**Eligibility criteria apply for this program in relation to work rights, prior qualifications, driving license, background and medical checks - if required - and Covid19 vaccination requirements. **
The Benefits:
You will be working full time and earning a weekly wage.
You will be enrolled in a nationally recognised training course.
You will be provided with on-the job training, coaching, and mentoring throughout your apprenticeship.
A MEGT Industry Employment Consultant will be assigned to you throughout your traineeship to provide support and mentoring.
