AddressCafe 228 is on the hunt for a cafe all rounder that has Sandwich making experience.
The right person will be friendly, outgoing, have a good work ethic, be able to work in a team environment, can handle presure situations and have a sense of humour (yes, we do allow dad jokes in our daily routine!). This person will be punctual (which means a few minutes early, not a few minutes late) and have EXPERIENCE in making sandwiches in bulk and to special order.
Do you tick the below boxes of experience??
Food prep - basic knife skills and an understanding of food hygiene and safety. This includes experience in slicing tomatos, onions, cucumbers etc.
Making of sandwiches, wraps & rolls. At least 6 months experince doing this.
Cleaning - from wiping a counter to doing dishes and sweeping/mopping floors etc.
Serving customers - can clearly communicate with customers and take an order.
Bonus skills but not necessary - Coffee making - an understanding of coffee basics is great (how long a shot should pour, experience in frothing milk, knowledge of what makes a bad coffee and how to avoid it)… latte art not essential.
We are a family business based in the west side of the Adelaide CBD and are continuing to grow. Our trading hours are Mon-Fri, 7:30am to 2pm so shifts can vary within/around these times (the latest you may end up working would be 4pm as an allrounder)… and no weekend work.
Positions is currently for 8-15 hours per week, with more hours available for the right person. Shifts will vary from week to week.
Availability on all days is a plus, but not a decider for us.
