- Comply with nutrition & sanitation regulations & safety standards
- Build & maintain a great team culture
- Experience as Head Chef
- Ability in delegation & accountability of staff
- Ability to foster great team culture & develop team members
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes
- Good understanding of support software (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Experience with bulk cooking & technique
- Experience in corporate catering
- Exceptional knowledge of cooking holding & storing temperatures
- Skill & desire to cook a number of different cuisines
- Certified in commercial cooking or similar
