Cafe Cook / Chef

The role involves cooking meals in a well established waterfront cafe restaurant located in Parramatta.

The cafe has a premium reputation and offers better quality food than our competitors. We achieve our high standards by sourcing quality ingredients, by putting in the hard work on prep and by presenting each dish as visually striking and delicious meal.

The tasks involves much more than just cooking, there is a good deal of food prep to be done as well as setting up the kitchen for service and closing and cleaning the kitchen end of service.

This is a long term role and we can look at sponsoring the right person for PR if required. We have already looked into this and our business does qualify.

We are offering this role as casual to start to make sure the role is a good fit for you and for us. We are happy to convert the role to full time after three months.

The cafe is very busy on weekends and moderate to quiet on weekdays. So you must be happy to work weekends.

We only open for breakfast and lunch to start time around 7am finish around 3pm.

You must have experience to do this role, please do not apply if you do not have relevant experience and a passion for sending our beautiful food.

Salary: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
