The Position
We are looking for an experienced Café Sous Chef to join our team at Penrhos College. This is a key role where you will be required to have at least 3 years Chef De Partie experience. Previous experience at a café is preferred.
The Person:
Passionate about creating high quality foods
Ability to work independently
Good understanding of food safety practices & protocols
Play a key role in creating daily and weekly specials
Keep a keen eye on stock control, wastage and labour
Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed
The person:
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated team
Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery is essential
Attention to detail and great time management is a must
Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce
Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
