Job Description:
As the Cafe & Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cafe and boutique retail store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Your duties will include:
- Managing a team of baristas, cafe staff and general retail staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Collaborating with the management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Managing the cafe's budget and financial performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A passion for coffee and food, with a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
- Proficiency in basic computer software and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
