Capital Equipment Inside Sales Representative - 12 Month FTC
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Capital Equipment Inside Sales Representative to support our growing installed base of Capital Equipment.
The successful candidate will build relationships with existing customers to ensure BSC capital equipment is covered by service agreements. The role is responsible for selling or renewing service contracts on all BSC Capital Equipment.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?
The Capital Equipment Inside Sales Representative will manage the sales pipeline of customers with expiring warranties, renewals or lapsed agreement thought the sales database and use this information to identify sales opportunities. They will proactively sell the service agreements to customers using their excellent telephone and written communication skills to support and advise on the benefits of service agreements. They will also create sales quotes and agreements
This role liaises with our field sales team and the customers to ensure opportunities are captured and actioned, as well as monitoring compliance of evaluation equipment in the field.
This individual will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals by the generation of renewal calls to customers and the managing the relationship with sales, Field Service Engineers, and existing and potential customers.
In addition, the role works with the Capital Equipment team to provide back up support for activities including, but not limited to, Capital Equipment administration, incoming enquiries, preventative services.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience are essential
- Customer service focus
- Working knowledge with a sales management systems (CRM) for tracking the sales pipeline i.e. SalesForce.com
- Knowledge of Capital equipment service process fundamentals and use of service management systems would be advantageous
- Ability to work under limited supervision to achieve defined outcomes
- Ability to build strong professional relationships
- A good communicator, both written and verbal
- Familiar with using MS Outlook and word, excel, powerpoint etc.
- Qualifications in a Business related course preferred i.e. Sales, Marketing, communications
