About BaptistCare Kularoo Centre
Set in the picturesque seaside town of Forster, Kularoo Centre is a well-established and valuable part of the local community. Located just around the corner to the nearby shops and amenities, you will enjoy the best of convenience and nature.
Designed in a country homestead style, the well-loved centre provides 160 beds catering for all levels of care, including respite, Ageing in Place, dementia, and palliative care.
About the role
BaptistCare Kularoo Centre is seeking Carers to join their team on a casual basis with the view to permanent part time. As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts.
Duties may include:
Assistance with a wide range of person centered care in accordance with care plans
Assistance with medication
Simple wound dressing
Assistance with activities under supervision
Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
Previous experience as a Carer (desirable)
Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent OR willing to complete Certificate- Traineeships on offer
