We are looking for an amazing house manager/personal carer to help our family of 4.We run a full-time business which takes Dad away often and Mum who has a full-time job needs support with home management and child care.Our two boys are 9 (ADHD) and 7 (Au/ADHD) are high functioning and mildly gifted, so their busy minds require someone who understands their needs and challenges. They love soccer, ju jitsu and basketball and are fairly active kids. We have a large Mastiff - friendly, inside/outside dog who is the boys protector and loves to run and play with them. She would require some basic care and cuddles on overnight stays.
Your Duties
The current role would include; school pick up, post-school tasks such as homework and prepping for following school day, home organisation, light housekeeping (we have a weekly cleaner), meal prep and potential errands for home or business management. There will be consistent weekdays and some weekend support required with potential 2-3 overnight stays per year (Thurs- Sunday) every quarter for business conferences. We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, collaborative and wanting to be part of our family. And shares our values of leading with curiosity, understanding and love to help our kids find their way. Our ideal caregiver needs to love helping little people reach their full potential and have the patience to guide them through moments when they may feel dis-regulated.It would be preferable that you have experience with neurodiversity, or are studying in an area of Learning Support, Psychology, Behaviour Specialist or Primary Education. Being close in age our kids can get along really well some days, and then other days not at all; so you will need skills and the ability to help them safely navigate conflict.
