All In One Carpentry & Construction have a dedicated team of professionals who specialise in a variety of Carpentry, construction and General Maintenance Services. We take pride in our quality workmanship, punctuality and personal service and have many repeat customers and referrals as a result. We are currently seeking a qualified Carpenter to work on a Full-time bases to join our team of professionals immediately.
The Role You will be the responsible for all aspects of carpentry on site, including, framing, skirting, joinery, forming and general repairs/maintenance, also is exceptional you to be a punctual, reliable and committed person with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude with the will to learn and advance their career in the construction industry.
Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand and all material and construction requirements
•__ Determine all materials needed for each job
•__ Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
•__ Cut and shape building materials (e.g. fiberglass and steel) according to measurements
•__ Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
•__ Lay out floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
•__ Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
•__ Build scaffolding and other construction structures
•__ Assemble and fasten various materials to erect framework
•__ Install structures and fixtures.
Work Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably 3 years
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools;
- Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities;
- Able to work efficiently with and without supervision;
- Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal tasks.
