The Opportunity
Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our Home Modifications, site team. This key role will report to a Site Manager and work on a portfolio of multiple unit turnovers from start to finish. Some key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day carpentry tasks with a focus on fix and fit off.
- Work closely with key subcontractors
- Adhere to OHS policies and procedures
- Mentor an apprentice
- Ensure construction projects are built in line with building regulations and to schedule.
Key Attributes:
The successful applicant will bring to the role:
- Qualified carpenter, who shows initiative and professionalism
- Experience in the residential construction
- Competent multitasker with the ability to work on multiple small projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a close-knit team
- Valid driver's license
- Exhibit high attention to detail and pride in workmanship
