We are an outreach service of St John's Anglican Church, in partnership with Anglicare, supported by other parishes and the Canberra community. We seek to respond to human need by offering emergency relief, support and other programs to those who struggle with issues of low income and social disadvantage.

About the role
The Case Manager is responsible for all aspects of the case management program and is responsible to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and positive service for all our clients.
You'll love this opportunity to draw upon your knowledge-base and training in equal measure, as you:
- Develop relationships and network with our Canberra and surrounds service providers.
- Follow case management principles and procedures to work in collaboration with clients.
- Enable clients to manage and where possible overcome the difficulties of their life situations
Who are we looking for?
A person with skills and experience in crisis intervention, trauma and the impact of long-term economic hardship, unemployment and underemployment and the resulting social disadvantage. High level communication skills, commitment to social justice and skilled cultural awareness are essential.
You will also need at a minimum a diploma qualification in Community Services or a related discipline.
You will need to be able to work autonomously or under limited supervision, respecting the trusting relationship you have with both within the St John's Care Team and the broader St John's church community.
