Case Manager - Workers Compensation | Darwin

Allianz is the home for case managers who dare to build long relationships rather than fulfil short-term objectives.
You'll be directly improving our customer's lives and well-being. You'll deal with people experiencing challenging times, but your job is to deliver a positive customer experience for them - and this is what makes it highly rewarding. Allianz are currently offering a 12-month fixed term contract for an individual who builds excellent relationships. In this role you'll help individuals, engaging with them and their workplace on the steps involved in their claim. Along the way, you'll educate our customers on what will happen at every stage and support them with anything they will need to know about their claim.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and improving technical knowledge across all facets of claims management.
  • Keep up to date with legislative amendments and their practical application.
  • Proactively manage claims within delegated authority level to achieve the most cost-effective outcome within the framework of the legislation, identifying and managing return to work barriers on individual claims.
  • Ensure customer service standards are maintained taken for prompt resolution of enquiries.

Important to your success:
  • An energetic and motivated approach to managing a demanding portfolio
  • Case management experience in Workers Compensation (ideally front-end / Corporate claims) is desired however not essential
  • Exposure/ Experience to a customer centric environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage your time and prioritise work tasks effectively
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills
