Duties
The Case Manager Redeployment is responsible for leading the provision of expert advice regarding redeployment principles and practices in line with the management of excess employees and the Return to Work Act 2014 and Regulations. This role works in collaboration with executive and senior leadership, the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment (OCPSE) and stakeholders across the People and Capability Directorate and across government, to provide high level operational support and advice relating to unassigned and excess employees that supports the change vision of the organisation. As a leader in the team, the role provides complex case management services which includes planning and coordination of return to work of injured personnel to ensure best levels of recovery that minimise the impact of injury on the individual and for the organisation.

The Case Manager Redeployment will progress critical matters relating to redeployment, retraining and redundancy as well as return to work. To ensure effective management of acute and / or long term or complex cases, the incumbent will contribute to planning, policy and procedure development, processes and tools and will engage with the business regarding change management initiatives to provide their alignment with business plans, relevant legislation and strategic objectives.

Requirements
Qualifications in HR, Psychology or coaching, and/or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience is desirable.

Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior to employment with the Department. Additional employment checks may be required relevant to the role being undertaken as outlined in the role statement; and

Work outside normal hours and inter/intrastate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months.

Remuneration
ASO6 - $95,588 to $101,109 per annum
