We are a very successful domestic pet transport company who have safely and successfully transported thousands of dogs within Perth and greater WA. With our wealth of experience, we are providing a service like no other in Perth and Western Australia, with our “Pooch-n-Peeps Pawfect Bus Tours”.
Our aim is to take our guests beyond, to ignite their imagination and transform amazing into breath-taking. We are pioneering a brand-new untapped market and believe the possibilities are endless.
Our unique Pooch-n-Peeps Bus Tours will be WA’s first pawfect adventures for dog owners and their pooch’s, to effortlessly experience beautiful, peaceful, and safe fully organised day outings.
Our exciting new Pooch-n-Peeps Bus Tours will allow like-minded people and their dogs to visit and enjoy nature walking trails with a pub lunch, or a day of sniffing and sipping at some of the finest wineries in the spectacular Swan Valley and hills areas, or even a high tea with delectable savouries and gourmet finger foods sourced from the finest producers.
About the role
It is necessary to hold a MR or HR Licence and have experience driving busses or vehicles of similar size.
Dog owners and their dogs are our customers, and we are searching for a driver that can sincerely mix and fit in with these people.
The age group is open and would suit a person who has lived a life full of dogs, has a farming and/or country background and could be semi-retired.
The successful applicants remuneration package will be attractive and well above the award.
It will be necessary to build rapport very quickly with dogs and their owners. Our Pooch and Peeps tours are designed to give owners and their pooch’s a unique experience. It is to “WOW” people and exceed their expectations on every tour. We are looking for a person with a high focus towards both 2 & 4 legged guests.
The successful applicant will need to
- Gain quick rapport with the group of up to 16 dogs & 16 people
- Strictly adhered to bus loading and unloading procedures
- Communicating with the tour-guide and guiding our pooches and their people safely through the day’s itinerary and activities.
- Identifying in advance situations that could potentially cause negative outcomes.
- Having the experience to understand the big picture.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant can expect their duties to be varied and include, but not be limited to:
- Work closely and harmoniously with the tour guide.
- Ensuring the bus has all its essentials on-board.
- Greet all dogs and owners attending the bus tour.
- Total responsibility and adherence to bus loading and unloading procedures.
- Provide quality guest interaction whilst on-board and off-board the bus
- Display a sincere level of care and interest in our guests.
This position will require some walking. The successful applicant will require flexibility with their working hours, including weekends and public holidays. This is a casual position.
Skills and experience
- Delivering the highest standard of safety ensuring all guests return happy and content
- Have a good understanding of dog body language
- Self-motivated, outgoing, attention to detail and organised.
- Knowledge of history, flora, and fauna of Swan Valley (or willing to learn)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate (or willing to obtain)
