Explorers Early Learning is a family-owned and operated company with Early Learning Centres across Melbourne. Our beautiful learning spaces are designed to stimulate children’s creativity, imagination and sense of belonging.

About our Surrey Hills centres:
Surrey Hills (Elgar Road)
Located on Elgar Road between Deakin University and Box Hill Train Station, our beautiful Explorers Surrey Hills Centre has on-site parking, three levels and nine carefully designed rooms. Our Centre opened in February 2022, and we've been thrilled to see our community of Educators and families grow over the year. Our supportive Centre Leadership Team will walk you through the principles of Reggio Emilia which guides our early learning philosophy.
Surrey Hills (Stanley Terrace)
We are situated on Stanley Terrace, just off Canterbury Road. Our Centre is constructed over three levels with beautiful outdoor spaces on each floor, as well as rooftop gardens. The children are surrounded by beautiful natural resources – both indoors and outdoors – and we believe in encouraging children to learn more about the local community through regular excursions. We are a warm and welcoming team that reward enthusiasm and dedication. After all, both our Director and Director-in-Training have been promoted from within the company!
Your Role:
Casual - To be able to accept shifts in advance and at short notice
You will have the opportunity once you establish to express interest in Part time and Full Time employment
You will be expected to support the team in the daily running of the room
Show initiative and also follow direction
Be able to communicate with families and children
Have an understanding of the Early Years Framework and demonstrate how you use it in your daily practice.

Support your team of like-minded Educators who share your passion for early learning
Key requirements:
An approved ACECQA qualification, or evidence of studying towards one
A demonstrated interest in children and their development
First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
Valid Working with Children Check
Working rights – Visa/Passport
