Job description

We are looking for a Casual and or Permanent Medical Receptionist to join our efficient, friendly and dedicated team. Previous experience in medical reception would be an advantage but, on the job, training is provided.

The successful applicants may be requested to work over our two inner City sites, which are located in Ainslie and Manuka.

To be successful as a receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. 

Computer skills, multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working different shifts between morning and afternoon and some Saturday's, so flexibility is a plus.

Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patient's positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

The position of casual receptionist would suit someone who can cover staff leave and be called in at short notice to cover sick leave. As the position of casual there are no certain number of hours and would vary week to week, some weeks having no hours and others being in every other day. The position of Permanant Part Time we would be offering from 16hrs to 32hrs per week.

Please note that shifts would vary from 7.30am starts to 6pm finishes.
