Salary $34.55 - $47.14 per hour + 25% casual Loading - Casual up to 3 December 2023 - RN/M1
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings. Employees working within this level develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. An employee at this level accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.
The Registered Nurse - Community Care will provide evidenced based care, developing clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies. They will be working with children, youth, women and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds and be required to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with a demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
