Riggers are a mainstay of our work on site, playing a hands-on role in making sure work is carried out accurately and safely. Whether it is lifting or transport operations, or both, as a rigger you’ll be able to take great pride in being a cornerstone of the projects you work on.
Mammoet is seeking Riggers of all levels to support our ongoing shutdown work by joining our Shutdown Crew. As a direct casual employee, you will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of clients, sites and work scopes.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and handling auxiliary equipment for the lifting, transport and movement of project loads
- Securing the load and the job site
- Installing and disassembling ancillary materials
- Guiding the operator through signaling and radio comms
- FIFO to remote jobsites
What you'll need:
- Proficiency in rigging practices.
- Experience with the Heavy Lift Industry and working with Liebherr cranes.
- Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
- High Risk Certification/License for Rigging (RB, RI, RA)
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- OHS Certification (Blue or White Card)
- Unrestricted Australian Work Rights
