About the Centre/Service Brentwood Kindergarten is a Parent Committee run Kindergarten dedicated to creating a welcoming and culturally inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff involved. The centre operates based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Our staff are extremely passionate about the education and care of all children and seek a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
Work Days of the Role Monday - Friday

Description Are you looking for flexible work alongside experienced and passionate educators? We are looking for enthusiastic educators who hold a Cert III, Diploma of
Early Childhood Education or equivalent, to join our team in a casual capacity. These educators would assist in our 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten programs in the event that our staff are unwell or on leave. You will report to the Director/Co-Ordinator of the Kindergarten and all staff are accountable to the employer body of the Committee.
This position will commence immediately and may lead to a permanent role in the future.
Qualifications We will be looking for the following criteria from all applicants:
- An Australian Diploma Qualification in
Early Childhood Education as recognised by ACECQA.
- A Current Working with Children's Check.
- Meet the Requirements of the National Quality Standards (NQS) including
First Aid Certificate, training in Asthma, Anaphylaxis, etc.
- Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to work cooperatively, productively and respectfully with the committee, staff, families and children.
- Applicant should be reliable, enthusiastic, dedicated, cooperative and self-motivated.
- Able to demonstrate their ability to provide safe and high quality planned care and educational programs that assist the overall development of the children attending the Centre.
- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for the National Quality Framework and Victorian
Early Years Learning Framework and to drive and support other staff in this area.
