About the role
The Teacher – Music provides high quality and innovative course materials and excellent teaching delivery to Music students and students in other courses studying relevant units, to:
  • Support student success in their chosen course and thereby improve their employment and/or educational pathways
  • Ensure BHI Group compliance requirements are met.
The Teacher – Music is one of several positions in the Music unit of the Faculty of Business, IT & Applied Arts. The position reports to the Coordinator - VET and is responsible for liaising with students, relevant Music industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners and employees of the BHI Group at all levels.
Our courses provides pathways into further education and employment and helps to increase life and employability skills. Full-time, part-time, on-campus, blended, work-based and online delivery options exist to suit the needs of our students and industry partners.
Your skills and experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
  • A vocational qualification in Music at Advanced Diploma or above is essential
  • Relevant industry qualifications and an AQF 5 or higher Vocational qualification
