Due to current and predicted customer demand, Nucrush needs another casual driver to operate our company-owned tipper trucks, delivering sand, gravel and rock products to our internal and external customers on the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.
This casual role requires:
- flexibility and availability for day work Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings in different trucks in our fleet which operates out of the Nucrush Quarry at Oxenford
- current HC (minimum) licence for tippers and safe and responsible driving habits (at interview, please provide current Driver History Report from Department of Transport)
- tip truck experience (ideally in truck and dog combination)
- outstanding customer service
- a genuine team spirit
- literacy and numeracy relevant to delivery records
- appropriate workplace communication and personal presentation
There's nothing casual about our casual truck drivers, so we follow a rigorous selection process to ensure we bring the best people into our well-established team.
Your application will need to stand out in a highly competitive field, so please ensure you tell us in detail about your level of experience related to our requirements and your availability for casual work on the Gold Coast. Please also answer the mandatory questions attached.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Other steps in the recruitment process involve a practical demonstration of driving ability, reference checking and a pre-employment medical, which involves a drug and alcohol test.
Go to www.nucrush.com.au to find out more about our history, our products and our community vision.
