Category Specialist

Are you skilled at managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and excel at working autonomously and within a team? Category experience in IT and/or electrical, highly regarded.
The Role:
We're seeking a Category Management Advisor to join our client's dynamic team. You'll be instrumental in managing categories, leading projects, and ensuring optimal supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage nominated categories and supplier relationships.
• Lead category projects from sourcing to contract.
• Provide industry-leading category management.
• Ensure contract activities meet company requirements.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

• Tertiary degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business, Law or Supply Chain.
• 5-7 years' experience in high-value contract management in mining/construction project environment..
• Excellent procurement and contract management skills.
• Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced computer literacy - MS Office.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
