About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists at our Bordertown Plant for a Cold Stores (Cold Chain Distribution) Foreperson. We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Supervise and trains the Arena, down stacking, container and truck loading crews
• Scan and locate product at end of production.
• Finalize and sign-off on all paperwork and MTC's - validate orders and process.
• Signoff Metal Detector end of shift - hand into QA.
• Sign off I-Leader end of shift.
• EU seal reconciliation.
• End of shift final product check (walk through).
• Segregation Checks.
• Fill out attendance sheet.
• Return toolbox to DA end of shift.
• Complete pay sheets end of night and hand into Payroll.
• Complete loading Schedule for next day and email to trucking companied.
• Complete Handover for day and email to all concerned.
• Check seal registers cupboard locked.

About you:

• Experience in a similar role/environment desired but not essential
• Current high-risk forklift license highly desired
• Good verbal & written communication abilities
• Sound computer skills (MS Office, Excel, MS Word)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• The ability to work to a deadline and under pressure.
• The ability to multitask
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organizational & time management skills
