About the team
The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia is a state-of-the-art dental teaching and learning facility united with an oral health care clinic, and the only institution in the state offering tertiary training in Dentistry. It’s a collaborative Centre and the primary focus for oral health education, research, general and specialist care delivery in Western Australia. The Centre will treat approximately 14,000 patients per annum and deliver several clinical and technical training programmes.
About the opportunity
The Central Sterilising Service Assistant is part of the large team at the Oral Health Centre of WA reporting to the Supervisor DCA and Coordinator DCAs.
About you
Applicants must possess a Certificate III in Health Services (Sterilisation Services) or an equivalent qualification. You will have a minimum of one year experience in a sterilisation unit. You will also have a strong knowledge in identification, disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices in the health care setting and an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Please note that evidence of a current immunisation requirements as per the policy for UWA staff will need to be supplied prior to commencement of employment.
