About You:
Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
If you have a Certificate III in commercial cookery we can offer 25 hours per week working 8.30am-1.30pm. Unqualified applications can be considered but it would be food prep for 3 hours per day
Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies
Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual
Better pay - you’ll get at least 4% above the award rate, increasing to 5% by 2023
