About the centre
The Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre is one of 4 facilities in Boroondara, and is owned by City of Boroondara and managed proudly by The Y. The facility contains a 750m2 Health Club, 3 program rooms, an outdoor 50m pool, indoor pool, cafe, sauna, and child care services.
About the role
As a Centre Coordinator (Customer Service & Café) you will play a key role within the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre leadership team. You will be a considered decision maker and will be able to manage a multitude of tasks utilizing good time management and organisational skills.
The Customer Service Coordinator plays an important role as part of the middle management team at Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre. Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, this role is directly responsible for the performance of Memberships, Cafe, and Merchandise. This role will also directly lead the Customer Service and Cafe teams, made up of part time and casual staff equivalent to approximately 7-8FTE.
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $60,803 Per Annum + Super. Working hours are based on a flexible rotating roster that provides leadership to teams across the full hours of operation.

Essential Qualifications
First Aid certificate
CPR certificate
Other Desired Qualifications
Leadership experience
Relevant diploma or equivalent
Sport and Recreation and / or Facility Operations experience
