About the Opportunity:
Creeds Farm Living & Learning Centre (CFLLC) is focused on building strong community relationships and partnerships. We focus on programs that promote community connection and well-being (physical, social, emotional, and mental). We also want to help our community make informed choices about our beautiful environment and live as sustainably as possible.
CFLLC is re-establishing itself as the preferred venue for community groups and organisations and building its community programs since re-opening in September 2022 after the pandemic and structural building improvements.
The CFLLC Centre Manager is responsible for the effective coordination and overall operation of CFLLC to provide a range of recreational, social, educational and intercultural activities relevant to the needs of the local community. The Centre Manager will implement the strategic plan including managing all operations, finance, funding and service agreements and leading staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate must be dynamic, organised, have a growth mindset and relevant experience in developing and managing a community services organisation.
key selection criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) or relevant experience in social sciences, management, community services, communications.
- Demonstrated experience managing a community-based organisation including operational and financial management, developing strategic and operational plans and managing budgets, including allocating resources to effectively and efficiently achieve funding and contractual obligations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in engaging and supporting staff and volunteers.
- Excellent ability to work flexibly and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and strong relationship management, verbal communication and engagement skills.
- Strong business development and project management skills including experience in creating and implementing programs and services and managing venue hire.
- Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others.
- Effective prioritisation, organisational and problem-solving skills, with sound judgement.
- Resonate with our values and bring kindness, a willingness to listen and positivity to how you work.
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office 365.
- Understanding of community development principles and practice.
- Experience working with Boards or Committees.
- Experience in Federal, State, and Local government policies, strategies and funding opportunities.
