Change Communications Manager - Fujitsu About the role We are looking for an experienced Change Communications Manager for developing and implementing a Change Communication strategy and plan for strategic business transformation programs at Fujitsu, focusing primarily on one key transformation program: OneERP+. This role supports the critical communication and change management requirements for this program in the region and will work closely with various stakeholder groups to develop, drive and implement the strategic direction and activities for communications to support organisational change. Working closely with the Change Management Lead, Transformation Communications Lead and collaboratively with a range of functions and teams (i.e. People, Purpose & Culture, and Marketing and Communications), the Change Communications Manager will define, develop, distribute and assess communications that ensure the program and change is widely understood, supported and adopted. About you Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement effective Change Communication strategies. This includes working closely with the Change Management Lead, OneERP+ Change Lead and Transformation Communications Lead to develop an overarching communications strategy for the OneERP+ program considering country specifics, channels, means and cultural differences.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand change initiatives and their impacts.
- Create clear, concise, and engaging communication materials to support change initiatives, including for employees from different cultural groups and non-English speaking backgrounds.
- Where needed establish, manage and maintain program-specific communication channels, subject to prior agreement and endorsement from the Head of Corporate Communications, Asia-Pacific.
- Coordinate with People and Culture, leadership teams, communication colleagues and other functions to ensure alignment between Change Communication and overall business strategy, and to properly manage the communications runway.
- Proactively assess and report communication risks and implement risk and issues management strategies as required.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Change Communication strategies and make necessary adjustments, creating guidelines, checklists, and templates where needed.
- Support the power-user network activities as directed by the OneERP+ Change Lead to support adoption of changes.
- Facilitate communication training and workshops to prepare employees for upcoming changes.
- Manage potential resistance to change through proactive and transparent communication.
- Ensure all communications meet company standards, follow policies and guidelines, and align with the Fujitsu values and brand image.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to stakeholders about the progress of change initiatives.
- Work closely with the change management team to ensure smooth transition during organisational changes. Contribute to the development of a change management practice with communication approaches, tools and templates to support the integration and engagement with change management principles across Fujitsu Asia-Pacific.
- Support the wider Corporate Communications team when required, including during critical emergencies and crises.
Requirements:
- Change Management Experience: Proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating large scale strategic communications plans for transformation and change programs.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey change strategies. Experience with managing strategic communications in large-scale and complex organisational change, with current applied examples of contemporary best practice in change management.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and influence others to embrace change.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- ERP implementation- Experience in ERP implementation is essential.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data related to change management and communication effectiveness.
- Creativity: Ability to create engaging and effective communication materials.
- Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively with different teams across the organisation.
- Knowledge of Change Management Principles: Understanding of change management theories, models, and best practices.
- Cultural Awareness: Evidence of adjusting communications approach to suit different styles, cultures and audience requirements across the Asia-Pacific region.
