About the team

The Sydney Metro Information & Technology (IT) branch sits within our Corporate Services division. Sydney Metro IT supports the needs of Sydney Metro's portfolio of transport infrastructure projects and the teams behind them. We deliver lifecycle management across digital, products/platforms, security and risk, customer experience, service management, application development and integration, architecture, and technology portfolio management.

We also play an important part in delivering the IT strategies that support Sydney Metro's goals as an organisation by identifying technology opportunities, now and into the future.

Our Engagement & Enablement team are responsible for driving business engagement and partnering, while also managing the 'business of IT' and supporting technology adoption.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change Manager (Technology) to join Australia's biggest public transport infrastructure program, reshaping transport solutions and making a genuine difference for the people of NSW.

This change manager sits within the Sydney Metro digital experience and adoption team to help bring our experience and adoption strategy to life. The teams' primary purpose is to assess and uplift the digital capabilities and experience of our workforce using technology to ensure better team work, collaboration and improved ways of working.

The change manager will assist the senior manager digital experience and adoption in developing, coordinating, and delivering innovative and interactive strategies and campaigns to ensure the human side of each technology implementation and uplift is comprehensively assessed. Working alongside our Technology Trainer to ensure a positive experience across all lines of business.

Our team's vision is to enable our users to use digital tools as they are intended, and to the fullest extent.

This opportunity is for a 2-year fixed term contract.

About you

To succeed in this position, you'll have demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading technology enabled organisational change utilising recognised methodologies.

You'll leverage your ability to create change management strategies, impact and readiness assessments, and communications to lead employees through structured change activities and workshops.

Your positive approach to consulting, networking, and partnering with stakeholders ensures you are successful in comprehensive change adoption.

Your ability to undertake and manage several projects concurrently shows you understand how to match and prioritise the level of change intervention needed. You are proficient in a relevant change methodology that can be used to inform your approach and input accordingly.

Beyond your change proficiency, you have a general passion for new technology applications and enabling employees to see and reach their full potential.

Salary and benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 9 ($142,178 to $159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
