Job description

As a Channel Marketing Executive you will provide support to the Channel Marketing Manager for our Open Channel Retail Partners.

You will need to be a passionate and proactive marketer that is in constant pursuit to drive sell-out through ‘ BEST IN CLASS ’ marketing solutions. You will have a good understanding of the marketing mix and be strong at working with data and insights to drive end-to-end marketing solutions across digital & social, brand, media and in retail.

In partnership with the National Account Managers (NAM) for our Open Channel Retail Partners and supporting the Channel Marketing Manager for our Open Channel Retail Partners you will be the face of your partners internally and for the Samsung brand externally.

The Role:
Support the Channel Marketing Manager for Open Channel Retail Partners in the delivery of cross functional partner marketing initiatives that support and deliver on sellout objectives of that partner
Responsible for the management of Samsung assets, the delivery of these assets to your partners and the reviewing and approval of any marketing using these Samsung assets
In reviewing and approving all marketing materials that include Samsung products you will ensure that these adhere to Samsung brand guidelines
Ensure you are stay up to date with trends, tools and techniques that can improve your skill set and drive the account and Samsung marketing team
Be proactive with your account team and the brand and product teams to ensure you are up to speed on any new initiatives / campaigns or quickly across any amends / changes to existing campaigns
Understand the Samsung business model and be clear on how your role impacts the sale of all mobility products within your assigned partners
Supporting the Channel Marketing Manager for Open Channel Retail Partners to ensure complete control of the financial running of your assigned partner account including the management of co-operative marketing funds
Provide detailed budgets for all marketing campaigns and projects
Show fantastic operational skills to deliver projects and campaigns that are best in class, inside and outside of category – don’t settle for 2nd best
If things change, which they will, ensure you are updating stakeholders, managing expectations, recalculating plans & budgets (if required) and setting revised delivery timings
You will need to have excellent Channle Partner knowledge and relationship, with deep knowledge of your accounts, understansing of their brand and structure, relationships with key stakeholders
Ensure an excellent working relationship with your assigned account across all areas of business. To include: financials, marketing and partner relationships
You will at least 3 global flagshi launches a year and at least 5 local launches where you will have executions across partner estates to include: Digital & Social, Print, OOH, Media, Events, Retail and Staff
Bespoke projects implemented by accounts depending upon business requirements which could include, digital and social improvements, cusyomer research and HQ driven initiatives

About You:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing. MBA in Marketing will be highly regarded
You’re passionate about marketing
You have +2-3yrs marketing experience working across the marketing mix
Capable of working under pressure in fast paced environments
Experienced at building and managing client relationships
Working with advertising and media agencies
Strong at stakeholder management (internal & external)
Proactively collaborates and works well as a team
Graphic design experience
Don’t worry if you don’t have lots of tech experience. If you have the above along with our other requests we can teach you about tech, no problem!
Advanced level ability in Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe illustrator and Adobe Photoshop will be highly regarded, but not essential.
