Job description
We are looking for passionate and eager individuals with at least 2 years experience within an upmarket Fine Dining Restaurant or 5 Star Hotel operation and previous experience at a Chef de Partie level.
As our new Chef de Partie you will be experienced in various cooking techniques, have a flair for creativity, understand various sections of the Kitchen including grill, larder and pastry. You will have a passion to present and serve dishes of the highest quality, using seasonal local Australian produce.
You must possess excellent communications skills whilst able to work in a busy environment, fast-paced environment and support the development of other Chefs including Commis and Demi Chefs, Cooks and Apprentices. A passion and a heart for Hospitality is essential.
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is mandatory for all positions, along with a Food safety certificate.
You will be provided with strong guidance and the opportunity to grow your career in a friendly and harmonious work environment.
You will be paid on an hourly wage basis under the Hospitality Industry General Award 2020.
You must have full time work rights in Australia.
Student Visa holders will not be considered, as we require full-time ongoing employment at this stage.
