The role of the Lodge Chef/Cook is to ensure our luxury lodges continue to provide an unwavering commitment to an exceptional customer experience. ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Lodge Chef/Cook you will be responsible for:Following a specially designed menu for our discerning guests:Deliver a well prepared and presented three course evening meal
Prepare ingredients for our lodge hosts to assemble guest lunches
Bake daily fresh bread to serve with dinners
Providing lodge staff with meals
Overseeing the correct storage of food and maintaining a clean kitchen in line with the environmental procedures of our Eco-Accredited lodges
Overseeing the food ordering and the delivery of food and stores
Training of Lodge staff on food preparation and how to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Ensuring the safety of all staff and guests and comply with OHS legislation
Working a 21 days on and 7 day off roster
