We seek a happy, friendly personality - Chef/foodie for our new kitchen.
The role is full-time, Tues -Sat, 6.00am – 2.00pm. Alternatively, we are willing to split the position into two part-time shifts.
The perfect chef for our kitchen is a Foodie passionate about presentation, who loves creating and displaying food to entice our customers. Our Chef will take charge of all food prepared and sold in the café, including breakfast and brunch menu for in house and take out dining. The chef will create typical café food for FOH counter service – from breakfast, lunch, snack , sweet, savoury, salads. You will be responsible for arranging food display in the café’s fridges.

The Chefs role:
- Work cooperatively with the store manager.
- Cost and plan menus – incl daily specials, salads and soups, pastries and cakes.
- Prep and cook daily gourmet breakfast and brunch, and an array of cabinet food.
- Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and cabinet presentation.
- Order stock and kitchen supplies/ supplier knowledge essential.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and observe health regulations.
- Friendly interaction with customers.
