The Warrnambool Racing Club, home of Australia’s premier jumps racing carnival, conducts 19 race meetings per season, significant equine training activity and operates a quality entertainment and function centre. An exciting opportunity to lead the Club as its Chief Executive Officer now exists.

This highly sought-after role is responsible for the professional and successful management of the Club's business activities, including stakeholder relationship management, and maximising revenue returns through the profitable conduct of racing and non-racing events and operations.

You will ideally have demonstrated experience operating in a leadership role within a successful customer focused environment. An interest in the racing industry and experience transferable to an entertainment, hospitality, or event management setting is desirable.

Your application should demonstrate the following:
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
An entrepreneurial approach with solutions-based thinking to business development and growth.
An ability to work with diverse stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
Sound business judgement and decision-making capability.
Strong team leadership capabilities with experience in successfully managing and directing a diverse range of employees and contractors.
Exceptional organisational, communication and public relations skills.
