Job Description
The new CEO will lead the existing team to continue policy and advocacy conversations through already established government and industry relationships while nurturing the business membership base. The incoming CEO will also be the custodian of the growing annual flagship event for members' discussions and education within Australia, and their annual industry award's night.
This full time role offers flexible work conditions and will partner with a skilled team of creators and organisers working from home-based offices to deliver the business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
The skills required to be successful in this role, include:
Will have built ties to the Government (State and Federal) and have strong effective stakeholder management skills, proactively building positive and lasting relationships and with the ability to get into all "the right rooms" to facilitate high level discussions.
Will have worked in Blockchain/Fintech industry or in an Not-for-profit Association.
Will have a record of success with building a membership, customer base, and/or community and understand the intricacies of running a membership organisation.
Will have credibility as an emerging industry figure, spokesperson or influencer and will be resolute in representing business values.
Will have organised large industry events or have been associated with education programs.
Has experience in reviewing and delivering policy submissions from an industry perspective through close engagement with the ecosystem, members, and regulators.
