The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill.
The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to priority positions across state funded mental health services in rural and regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of $10,000.
The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).

About the role
In this role you will have the opportunity to develop close working relationships with mental health services and education in order to implement more formal local collaborative information exchange and advice activities. You will identify and improve service pathways and system capacity for vulnerable children and young people and their families, developing systems for sharing of information between DET, health and mental health services to work more collaboratively.
We are looking for
Qualifications and registration in psychology, occupational therapy, social work or mental health nursing
Experience and expertise in the development and maintenance of organisational relationships
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
