Moree is a town of relaxation and rejuvenation, and is situated in the beautiful Gwydir Valley in northwest New South Wales. One of the most popular recreational activities to do among locals and visitors is to visit the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre to enjoy the thermal springs, naturally heated to 41 degrees Celsius. For the thrill seekers, Moree Water Park is a popular attraction in the warmer months. Direct flights operate between Moree and Sydney 6 days a week.

About the Role
The Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN) provides compassionate person centred care within the Moree Community Health Service, ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. The successful applicant will be supported in this role with online education, shadowing with an experienced clinician and clinical supervision.

In this position you will find yourself working within a supportive Maternal and Child Health team providing care for new mothers and their children 0 to 5 years. You will also have access to a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a community based setting including Allied Health services. You will be supported throughout your transition into the role and the Moree region.

Information for Applicants:

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
