Casual Early Childhood Educators

We are seeking casual early childhood educators to work across our child care services. Our Child Care Services provide work based early education and care services from 6.30am - 6-30pm, Monday to Friday, onsite at Westmead, Blacktown, and Mt Druitt Hospitals within the broader Western Sydney Local Health District.
Responsive play-based programs and learning environments, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework are provided for children 0 - 5 years, including a Preschool Program lead by experienced Early Childhood Teachers.

Essential Criteria
Qualification: A Diploma qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011 and a pproved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment)
Selection Criteria
- Applied knowledge of early education and care with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework
- Ability to contribute in a team teaching situation
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate quality improvement strategies and evaluate outcomes
- Approved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment)
- Current first aid and emergency anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications/training
- A working knowledge of operational requirements and understanding of the provision of education and care to children
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
