About the position
Council's City Works Department is looking for a Maintenance Assistant who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing council's infrastructures and assets, throughout Frankston municipality in accordance with works and management programs.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Perform all civil infrastructure maintenance tasks and repairs
- Easement Inspections works, construction and drainage maintenance
- Cleaning activities across all of Civil Infrastructure maintenance works
- Construction or trades related industry experience, with knowledge and skills in Drainage, roads and signage maintenance.
- Ability to prioritise and plan own work, with independent thinking & problem solving skills and the ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance
