The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to provide detailed scoping documents and contractual oversight, direction and guidance to Contractors and Works Teams constructing and maintaining BVSC assets.
As Civil Contractors Supervisor, you will supervise contractors and BVSC Works Teams carrying out civil construction works as well as assess the condition of assets and determine the most appropriate method of repair and/or maintenance. You will assist in the development of specifications and participate in tender evaluations.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a SafeWork NSW General Induction Card (White Card) and has minimum five (5) years’ experience working on civil construction projects or similar (indicative).
You will have the following skills and experience;

• Demonstrated experience in supervising small teams in a construction and maintenance task-oriented environment.
• Proven skills in planning, scheduling, costing and coordination of minor works.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in road and drainage works which may include (but not limited to): in-situ stabilisation, gravel re-sheeting, pavement upgrade, site levelling, pipe laying, culvert construction, drainage and environmental control installation.

Benefits
This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $88,767.64 gross per annum, comprising of:

• $1537.90 per week base salary
• $169.17 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
