AddressPosition: Design Draftsperson
Department: Civil
Role purpose:
The position of the design Draftsperson is responsible for translating engineering designs into detailed engineering and technical drawings. Draftsperson will work closely with the engineering team ensuring project delivery is supported by high quality technical drawings and specifications.
Primary accountabilities:
- engineering designs into technical drawings.
- drawings comply with Australian Standards and meets clients requirements
- products, materials and other works to specifications.
- CAD and other design software to produce drawings and 3D models and animations for tenders and projects.
- closely with the Engineering team, seeking clarification where needed.
- input and calculations for costing and estimates.
- up to date on drafting standards and techniques.
Qualifications:
Extensive CAD experience
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience
- time management skills with ability to maintain deadlines.
- experience drafting structural remedial projects
Salary $80-90,000 + super
