The business is poised to expand rapidly and is currently looking for self-driven individuals to help grow and develop the business here in Australia.
About the role
As a Civil Designer at Binnies you will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and realisation of civil infrastructure projects. The primary responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and drafting of civil-related infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilise advanced software tools (Primarily Civil 3D and Revit) for the creation of detailed and accurate engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with international design and drafting teams to ensure seamless integration of diverse perspectives and expertise.
- Foster effective communication channels to enhance project efficiency and team cohesion.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and precision of design documentation.
- Conduct regular reviews of design work to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to integrate innovative solutions into the design process.
- Proven experience as a civil designer in the Australian market.
- Demonstrated experience in water/wastewater projects.
- Experienced in using multiple design software platforms, particularly in the AutoDesk suite.
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering Technology preferred but not essential.
