AddressUnited Civil Resources has been appointed as the Principal Mining Contractor for New Wilkie Energy at the Wilkie Creek Mine. The Wilkie Creek Mine is located in the Surat Basin between the towns of Dalby and Chinchilla.
The contract includes project development and civil works as well as supply of labour to the mining operation. The project has now reached key milestones to allow project development works to
incrementally start through the remainder of 2022, with production to commence in January 2023.
We are currently seeking candidates with civil/ heavy earthmoving experience outside of the mining industry to work on project development and civil works prior to mining production. If successful civil
operators show interest in mining production, UCR will be providing opportunities for the right candidates to move from project development works into the mining operation as the project
progresses.

About You
- Previous experience as a civil/earthmoving or heavy equipment operator
- Proactive and safety driven operator with the ability to work in a team environment
- Current drivers licence
- QLD Standard 11 Surface Mining Induction – obtained or working towards
- Statement of Attainment on dozer, grader, excavator or other ancillary equipment
- Dedication to ensuring the safety of yourself and others
Pre-Employment
- All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including D&A along with a background check;
- It is a condition of employment to this role you will be required to provide evidence you have received at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccination;
- References required.
